Description provided by Dexter (YC F24)
We use AI to read invoices and turn chaotic spend data into clear intelligence. So procurement teams can spot savings, manage suppliers smarter, and make decisions with confidence. We went through Y Combinator in 2024 and we're growing fast.
Now we're looking for a GTM & Growth Marketing Intern to work directly with the founders and help us punch above our weight. Through events, campaigns, and creative brand moments that put Dexter on the map.
Your Role
As a GTM & Growth Marketing Intern at Dexter, you'll work directly with the founders on the campaigns, events, and growth motions that shape Dexter’s public face.
You'll help drive pipeline generation across field marketing, content, partnerships, and outbound GTM initiatives: from executive dinners and webinars to conference activations, social media, and creative campaign experiments targeted at procurement leaders across Europe.
You'll also build the automations and AI workflows that make all of this scalable - we believe in using every tool at our disposal (AI, no-code automation, whatever works) to punch above our weight.
Key Facts
- Start: ASAP (May or June 2026)
- Duration: minimum 5 months (please do not apply if you are available less than 5 months)
- Location: Berlin, in-office at least 4 days per week.
- Drive content and social - turn customer wins, founder takes, and event highlights into LinkedIn posts, short-form video, and assets that compound our reach.
- Plan and run executive dinners for procurement leaders - venue scouting, guest list curation, invitations, on-site hosting, and follow-up.
- Own our presence at conferences and industry events - booth design, swag, pre-event outbound to attendees, on-site logistics, and post-event pipeline follow-up.
- Design and run creative GTM campaigns that get us noticed: brand activations, thought-leadership moments, partnership stunts, and other out-of-the box experiments.
- Produce webinars and virtual events end-to-end: source and prep speakers, run promotion, manage the live production, and turn the recording into content that keeps working for us.
- Use AI and automation to streamline event ops, attendee research, post-event follow-up, content repurposing, and any workflow that would otherwise eat hours.
- Create marketing materials, decks, and reporting to turn every event and campaign into measurable pipeline.
- Work directly with founders on ad-hoc strategic projects as the company scales.
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- You have at least two years of university education and hands-on experience with events, campaigns, content, or community - whether through a previous internship, student org, or a side project you ran yourself.
- You have great taste. You can tell the difference between a dinner that feels special and one that feels corporate, between a LinkedIn post that lands and one that doesn't.
- You're highly organized and detail-oriented.
- You're genuinely excited about AI and automation for creatives, and have used or experimented with tools.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable engaging with senior executives, speakers, and partners.
- You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are excited about building something from the ground up.
- You are fluent in English and German.
- A high-impact role in a fast-growing YC AI startup.
- Direct, daily collaboration with experienced founders.
- A steep learning curve with real responsibility from day one.
- Exposure to marketing, sales, strategy, product, and company-building.
- Competitive compensation that recognizes your value.
We're a team of builders and operators who love solving tough problems. Our founders - Vincent (ex-SoundCloud), Caterina (ex-Uber), and Bella (ex-HubSpot) - met while scaling operations at Dance and saw firsthand how critical supply chain and procurement operations are to real-world products. So we built Dexter to help. We're backed by Y Combinator and growing fast.
How To Apply
Send us an application with a short text explaining why you want to join Dexter, your LinkedIn profile, and examples of events you've run, campaigns you've shipped, or content you've made. Please include your earliest possible start date and duration of internship.
