You support the team by testing new software or hardware features to ensure they work correctly.
The role focuses on testing systems together with robotic platforms on the water to verify their functionality in real-world conditions. You document test results, report issues, and help ensure the systems perform reliably during field tests.

Your Tasks
You support the team by testing new software or hardware features to ensure they work correctly.
The role focuses on testing systems together with robotic platforms on the water to verify their functionality in real-world conditions. You document test results, report issues, and help ensure the systems perform reliably during field tests.
What the job looks like
- Support the preparation, execution, and documentation of sensor test campaigns on and near the water
- Assemble, configure, and maintain prototype systems with various sensor setups
- Assist engineers with sensor integration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Set up hardware, software, and data logging environments for test activities
- Collect test results, document findings, and report issues in a structured manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test procedures and prototype iterations
- Optional: Conduct a Bachelor�s or Master�s thesis aligned with current R&D activities
- Enrolled in a technical degree program:
- Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Hydrography or related fields
- Strong interest in sensors, embedded systems, robotics or maritime technology
- Hands?on mindset and technical curiosity
- Willingness to participate in outdoor and on?water test activities
- Basic programming skills (e.g. C++, Python, ROS2) are a plus
- Independent, structured way of working and good problem?solving abilities
- Availability for at least 6 months
