About The Role

As a Working Student in Professional Services, you will support our consultants and project managers in day-to-day delivery activities. You will engage with clients using the Mitratech GRC platform, contribute to internal enablement initiatives, and help develop and maintain service delivery assets. Your tasks will span the full PS lifecycle — from pre-sales scoping support through to project delivery and client success.

Job Duties

  • Support Professional Services consultants and project managers in client-facing engagements on the Mitratech GRC platform
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of client workshops, onboarding sessions, and project kick-offs
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standardized delivery assets, including Descriptions of Work, project plans, and configuration templates
  • Help curate and adapt content libraries covering GRC frameworks such as ISO 27001, COSO ERM, GDPR/DSGVO, NIS2, and TPRM
  • Monitor regulatory developments and summarize relevant changes for internal knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Assist with data analysis, reporting, and QBR preparation for key EMEA accounts

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently enrolled student in business, information management, law, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in GRC, information security, risk management, or regulatory compliance
  • Structured, self-starter approach — you take ownership of tasks and follow through independently
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex topics and document findings clearly
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and German
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with SaaS tools is a plus
  • Project management fundamentals — you understand timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder needs
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment

What We Offer

  • Meaningful, hands-on work from day one — no busywork, real client impact
  • Exposure to enterprise GRC delivery across leading EMEA organisations
  • A collaborative and experienced Professional Services team with flat hierarchies
  • Flexible working hours designed to fit around your study schedule
  • Central Munich office location with hybrid working flexibility
  • Competitive part-time compensation
  • Direct mentorship from senior consultants and access to Mitratech's broader PS & Support community
  • A stepping stone into a full-time career in Professional Services, Customer Success, or GRC consulting

Working student essentials

What this Consulting working student role in Munich means for you: the weekly-hours rules, the social-contribution perks, and what international students should check before applying.

Weekly hours

Working students may work up to 20 hours a week during the semester and full-time during the breaks. Staying within this keeps your student status and the Werkstudent benefits.

Working student rules

Social contributions

Under the Werkstudentenprivileg you're exempt from health, care and unemployment insurance contributions — only pension insurance applies. That leaves more net pay than a regular job.

Check your insurance

International students

Non-EU students can work 140 full or 280 half days per year (raised from 120/240 in March 2024). A working student contract usually fits within this — confirm the exact limits printed on your residence permit.
