About the Role
Join a fast-growing, early-stage AI content tech startup as a Sales Intern based on-site in Munich. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced sales professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to B2B sales processes, tools, and strategy — while making a real impact on customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is a great opportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate eager to build a foundation in B2B sales within an innovative, AI-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Identify and qualify inbound and outbound leads, tracking outreach progress throughout the pipeline.
- Conduct prospect outreach via email and phone under the guidance of senior sales team members.
- Maintain and update CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure accurate and up-to-date pipeline management.
- Create and tailor sales collateral, presentations, and bespoke proposals for prospective customers.
- Coordinate meetings and product demos between prospects and account teams.
- Track key sales metrics and generate simple reports to inform team decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and materials.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional sales or customer-facing experience.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) for professional communication with prospects.
- Experience using or maintaining CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and managing sales pipelines, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to create and adapt sales collateral, presentations, and proposals for different prospect needs.
- Experience with or strong understanding of lead generation and qualification (inbound and outbound).
Nice to Have:
- Additional language skills beyond English (German is a strong plus).
- Interest in AI, search technologies, or content marketing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Comfort working in a small, fast-paced startup environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: €22,200 per year (internship).
- Practical, real-world B2B sales experience at an innovative AI-focused company.
- Close mentorship from experienced sales and business professionals.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Visa sponsorship: Not available — candidates must have existing authorization to work in Germany.
Location
This role is on-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Candidates must be available to work from the Munich office. Remote work is not available for this position.
Working student essentials
