Working Student: Sales (m/f/d)

Remote · approx. 20h/week · start immediately

About us

With RAKETENSTART we are building the digital operating system for founders and small businesses in Germany: from incorporating a GmbH to online notarization to everything that comes after. What used to take weeks and cost a fortune at a law firm, we make fast, transparent, and affordable.

We do not scale by hiring more people to do repetitive work. We scale by building AI agents that handle the routine, so our team can focus on the moments that actually need a human. You will work right at that line, where sales conversations meet AI automation.

This is not a role for someone who wants to coast. We are looking for a high performer who reads a founder's situation fast, builds trust in a single call, and wants to take on responsibility fast.

What you will do

You will be part of the sales conversations and processes with every founder who comes to us, with AI as your leverage:

  • Qualify and prioritize inbound leads, and keep a clear overview of where every conversation stands
  • Run discovery calls with founders: friendly, clear, on eye level, never pushy
  • Use our AI tools to draft outreach, score leads, and prepare talking points, then apply your own judgment on top
  • Handle the conversations that genuinely need sales instinct and a feel for the person on the other end, and escalate pricing or partner questions to the team lead
  • Help us make our sales process smarter: you will see which objections and questions keep coming back, and feed that straight into what we automate next

Important:

We do not want you to work through a call list mechanically. You will help us build automations for every part of the funnel that does not need a human voice. Your value is in the conversations that need judgment, and in making the automation better every week.

What you bring

You are a high performer:

  • You set a high bar for yourself and you deliver, without being chased
  • You keep every lead in view and let nothing slip through, even when several conversations run in parallel
  • You have a sharp feel for what a founder actually needs and can meet each person exactly where they are
  • You are not afraid of the phone or a video call, and you do not take a "no" personally
  • You want to take on real responsibility fast and grow into more
  • You study business, marketing, economics, or something with a commercial angle, or you have a strong feel for sales and customer conversations
  • You are genuinely curious about AI and comfortable working with AI tools day to day, or eager to learn fast
  • You write and speak clearly and reliably, in German at native level and solid English
  • You are self-directed but ask when something is unclear
  • You want a fast startup environment where processes are still being built

What you get

  • Full remote flexibility
  • Real responsibility from day one, no coffee runs
  • Hands-on experience at the intersection of sales, growth, and applied AI
  • A front-row seat to how AI agents are built and improved in a real product
  • A small team, short paths, and the chance to shape our sales process
  • Fair working-student compensation
  • Option to evolve and become part of the team as a full time role

How to apply

Send us an email on why you are the perfect fit for us and when you can start. We want to see how you think and write and how you will create the best founding experience ever for our clients. Bonus points if you tell us how you already use AI in your own work or studies.
