Intern (all genders) Investment Banking – M&A (European Advisory Group) – Q3 2027
We are seeking to attract the most talented and accomplished individuals and are open for applications until 30.09.2026 for a period of 3 months starting Q3 2027. If you are selected for the interview process, we will contact you in October.
BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking is a bridge between large multinationals and mid-sized companies with international business activities (Corporates) and institutional investors and financial service providers (Institutionals). BNP Paribas’ internship program offers a rewarding experience for students interested in starting their Investment Banking career. It is an excellent opportunity for students to gain an in-depth understanding of the M&A business and the culture of our firm. Interns will be able to explore all aspects from origination of projects in various industries to execution of live deals with demanding / challenging clients.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you
- Work on real responsibilities alongside our people
- Develop core investment banking skills benefiting from direct exposure to deals and transactions
- Support our bankers in creating comprehensive valuation analysis using common methodologies
- Prepare presentations and other materials for our clients including transaction marketing materials and pitch books
- Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
- Excellent academic performance
- Strong quantitative / technical abilities as well as outstanding communications and time management skills
- Maturity, self-confidence and self-motivation
- Fluency in English, knowledge of German would be beneficial
- Proficiency in MS Office suite

Weekly hours
Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.
