We are currently recruiting for the position of an Intern starting Q1 2027.
BMW i Ventures offers the opportunity to
- gain first-hand experience at a Silicon Valley headquartered mobility fund with a global scope and a portfolio of disruptive category leaders.
- support the sourcing, due diligence and portfolio management process.
- acquire expertise on various state-of-the-art technologies by developing technical and market perspectives on topics relating to the future of mobility.
- get involved in the European startup ecosystem.
- implement own projects in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with flat organizational structures and close interaction with the US investment team.
Your Profile:
- previous experience in at least two internships – preferably in private equity, venture capital, tech startups, investment banking or strategy consulting
- passion for entrepreneurship, technology and investing
- degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or Natural Sciences
- outstanding academic achievements with attention to detail
- fluent in spoken and written English and German
- excellent office suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, etc.) and database research skills (Pitchbook, Crunchbase, etc.)
- results oriented team player with an analytical mindset and the motivation to go the “extra mile”

Weekly hours
Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.
