Internship Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer – German & English

Desired Competencies & Qualifications

• Students, fresh graduates, or Diploma holders in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Good proficiency in both German and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• German speakers with good English proficiency will be preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing assembly sequences, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and process planning methodologies.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn manufacturing engineering processes, tools, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document manufacturing assembly sequences to develop accurate and standardized manufacturing instructions.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with the offshore project team based in India to support project execution and timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Assist in preparing, validating, and transferring engineering and production data required for manufacturing activities.
• Support the development of Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs), work orders, technical documentation, and safety instructions by analyzing operator activities, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing requirements.
• Support engineering change management by interpreting technical drawings and updating manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
• Create, maintain, and update Schemes of Instruction (SOIs) using the SOI Wizard tool.
• Support the creation and release of Routings, As-Prepared BOMs, Industrial Requests, and Configuration Management Gap Analyses.
• Assist in calculating standard operation times for manufacturing processes.
• Support the development and maintenance of SAP-based production planning and material management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with configuration management, quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing documentation and processes.
