Intern / Analyst — M&A Advisory (Automotive & Mobility Technology)

Autonomy House is an independent M&A advisory boutique focused on automotive, mobility technology, software-defined vehicles, semiconductors, and adjacent industrial technology. We advise founders, corporates, and financial sponsors on sell-side, buy-side, and strategic transactions, combining senior-led execution with rigorous, data-backed sector research.
We are hiring an Intern or Analyst to work directly alongside the founding team on live mandates and origination.
What you will do
- Build and maintain company, buyer, and precedent-transaction databases across our core sectors
- Support valuation work: trading and transaction comparables, DCF, LBO, and downside-aware scenario analysis
- Prepare pitch materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and buyer lists
- Contribute to sector research on automotive technology and trends
- Assist in origination workflows, target screening, and the weekly transaction tracker
- Help coordinate client meetings, site visits, and event presence (IAA, DEALSOURCING, and others)
What we look for
- Advanced student or recent graduate in finance, economics, engineering, or a comparable quantitative field
- First exposure to investment banking, M&A, corporate development, transaction services, strategy consulting, or private equity
- Genuine interest in the automotive & mobility segment and its particularities
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfort with structured research and clean, senior-ready output
- Genuine interest in automotive, mobility, and industrial technology
- Fluent English; German is a strong plus
- Precision, discretion, ownership, and a design-conscious eye for client-facing work
