We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team as a working student. The FP&A working student will support the budgeting process, prepare monthly financial reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.
About the working student role (3 months):
Qualifications:
- Budget Coordination & Monthly Reporting:
- Assist in coordinating and preparing the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and explanations.
- Cost centre structure / setup:
- Support a project to optimize our setup of cost accounting and reporting in SAP.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with different clusters and functions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare relevant monthly reports, including analyses and explanations of financial trends and results.
- Accounting Period End:
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support FP&A Analysts:
- Assist FP&A analysts with data analysis and data modeling tasks as required.
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions).
- Basic understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. PowerBI)
- Knowledge of financial modeling techniques.
