Your Team
You will work closely with the Head of Global Core Applications and the AZ Document Manager, gaining hands-on experience in global initiatives related to document management, enterprise platforms, and digital transformation.
The team operates at the intersection of business and IT, managing core applications such as SharePoint, FileNet, and OpenText, as well as driving global document management standards and digitization initiatives.
The Impact You Will Have
As a working student, you will actively contribute to the digitalization and optimization of document management processes across Allianz Commercial. You will be involved in real business projects and support operational excellence, compliance, and data quality across key platforms.
Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include
Document Digitization & Data Management
- Support the Iron Mountain digitization project, including tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of digitized content
- Coordinate between business stakeholders and external vendors to clarify requirements and resolve queries
- Download and securely process digitized files and support their upload into SharePoint-based DMS solutions
- Perform data quality checks, sampling, and validation of uploaded documentation
- Participate in regular coordination with IT and business teams
- Support compliance-related activities (e.g. BIA, UAR, PIA) for document management systems
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation
- Maintain and update business documentation, guidelines, and training materials
- Support the maintenance and evolution of the Document Champions network across the organization
- Help track organizational changes and ensure document ownership structures remain up to date
- Contribute to strengthening governance, transparency, and best practices in document management
- Maintain and update internal knowledge resources (e.g. intranet pages, guidelines, training content)
- Monitor updates and ensure alignment of document management standards across platforms
- Support continuous improvement of processes and user enablement materials
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Interest in digitalization, document management, and enterprise applications
- Structured and reliable way of working, with a hands-on mindset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (experience with SharePoint is a plus)
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
- Direct exposure to global projects and senior stakeholders
- Opportunity to work alongside the Head of Global Core Applications and gain strategic insights
- Hands-on experience with leading document management systems (SharePoint, FileNet, OpenText)
- A flexible, hybrid working environment

- Working hours: ~10 hours/week
