Intern in the field of structural mechanics (d/f/m), focus on material modelling for thermoplastic composites

Thermoplastic composites offer a number of advantages for the aviation industry, but their processing at high temperatures is a complex task. Many challenges can be tackled using processing simulation, provided appropriate material models are available. These models require a lot of material characterisation tests to calibrate.
