What you will do

We are the product development for adhesive tape applications in the automotive industry and work together with our customers to create innovative solutions for the vehicles of tomorrow.

  • You support the global product development of the Automotive business unit with sample preparation and adhesive testing in our development labs
  • You actively participate in our customer projects in the automotive sector
  • You are part of the change of the automotive industry towards more sustainable concepts by performing tests and investigations
  • You prepare test reports for ongoing inquiries from our automotive customers
  • You perform manual activities in support of customer projects

What you will need

  • You are in your studies with a technical or scientific background (chemistry, chemical engineering or similar)
  • You are available for a minimum of 6 months
  • You are highly self-motivated and work independently
  • You are interested in practical work in a lab
  • You work with high precision and reliability
  • You speak fluent German or English
  • You are confident in using the MS Office package

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Ingenieurwesen in Hamburg für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
