We Have An Exciting Opportunity For You As
Intern Product Pricing (All genders welcome) at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
>> Minimum of 6 months starting as soon as possible with possible extension to 12 months.
The Requirements
For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union, preferably Germany. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Your Mission
- Support the lifecycle management of current models, prepare the launch of upcoming models and actively participate in the product portfolio management of Kia in Europe.
- Be a key contributor to the development and roll-out of new pricing projects with a focus on new PBV models including price positioning analyses in assigned markets and consolidating results into structured, decision-ready reports for top management and Kia EU subsidiaries.
- Explore and analyze the European automotive landscape focusing on competitive pricing and product intelligence, including:
- Conduct different ad-hoc or benchmarking studies
- Analyze quarterly/monthly price positioning for all models in assigned markets, creating an aggregated report for our markets (subsidiaries)
- Gather product pricing intelligence on competitors and identify potential competitive pricing and/or product-related actions.
- Support the development of the new Kia EU Pricing-related IT systems tools.
- Support ad‑hoc pricing requests from Kia Europe and Kia Global Headquarters, covering new model pricing, ongoing price tracking, and other EU pricing-related topics.
Your Talents:
- Currently enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Business or Economics, with a focus on Marketing, Product Management or Pricing.
- Interest in the Automotive Industry.
- Previous experience in an automotive-related work environment is a plus.
- Practical experience working with European market data and benchmarks.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data queries, dashboards, and data visualization).
- Proactive and cross-functional approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team player with an open approach to individuals from different nationalities and cultures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Capable of analyzing problems and communicating solutions and results.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks, technologies and challenges in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficient in LLM tools (such as MS Copilot) and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with Tableau is a plus.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
