We Have An Exciting Opportunity For You As

Intern Marketing Communications (all genders welcome)at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

>> Minimum of 6 months starting as soon as possible with possible extension to 12 months.

The Requirements

For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a minimum of six-month to one year internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.

Your Mission

  • Support the Marketing Communications team in the planning, execution and coordination of marketing activities across Europe.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Social Media, Campaigns, Media, Brand Experience, Digital and PR teams, as well as external agencies.
  • Support the Social and Brand Experience teams with content planning, publishing, governance, reporting and day-to-day social media activities.
  • Assist with content creation, localization and asset distribution across multiple communication channels.
  • Support creator and influencer marketing initiatives, including campaign coordination and content management.
  • Assist the Digital team with website content updates, governance and user experience improvements.
  • Support the Campaigns team with the production and management of communication assets, including video, photography, brochures, website content and social media materials.
  • Review marketing materials, websites and social channels to ensure alignment with Kia's brand guidelines, visual identity and user experience standards.
  • Prepare campaign, content and performance reports, including website, social media and SEO analytics, with support from agency partners.
  • Conduct competitor monitoring, benchmarking and trend analysis across the automotive and broader marketing landscape.
  • Support the exploration of emerging digital trends, social media innovations and AI-enabled marketing tools.
  • Support day-to-day coordination of projects, presentations, market requests and internal communications.
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth team collaboration and project delivery.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media or a related field.
  • Strong interest in automotive, mobility, marketing and digital communications.
  • Previous internship or work experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications or social media is an advantage.
  • Passion for content creation, storytelling, social media, emerging digital trends, and strong interest in creator, influencer and community-driven marketing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work effectively across multiple teams and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with content management systems, analytics tools or social media platforms is a plus.
  • Confident working with modern digital tools and platforms (e.g. Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Copilot etc.)
  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Marketing in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
