Work on real projects and tasks within our Sales department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany
>> Starting from May 2026 or later - Minimum of 6 months (possible prolongation for up to 12 months).
The Requirements
For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in an European Union University. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Your Mission
- Gain an in-depth exposure to core Sales Operations functions of European Headquarter business including Market Management of almost 40 markets, Market Analysis, Forecasting and Business Planning.
- Support the 2026 Annual Business Planning Process, including Sales and Budget target setting as well as negotiations with the markets.
- Collect, consolidate and analyze Sales Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data points as well as make proposals to support Sales Team’s decision-making process.
- Participate in the exciting process of new Electric Models launch planning, execution and post-launch follow up assessment.
- Acquire wider cross-functional exposure working closely with other departments such as Business Planning, Sales Strategy, Corporate Sales and Supply Chain Management to prepare ad-hoc analysis and provide reports.
- Facilitate Kia EUs Digital Transformation efforts including the digitalization of sales forecasting and planning.
- Work in close proximity and engage daily with Kia EU’s Sales Department Senior Management thus gaining directly valuable insights into the business.
- Bachelor or Master student (focus on Economics, Business Management or Engineering).
- Basic understanding of the Automotive industry principles.
- Dynamic and self-motivated with great level of originality.
- Good analytical skills.
- High motivation, eagerness to learn and self-driven attitude.
- Flexible, proactive and ability to deal positively with pressure and uncertainty.
- Good IT skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); an additional European language constitutes an advantage.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Operations in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
