Intern - Automation & Method Development (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Support the development, optimization, validation, and implementation of analytical methods for bioactivity and compositional analysis
• Program, optimize, and troubleshoot automated workflows on our Hamilton liquid handling platform
• Perform and analyze plate-based assays using microplate readers, including absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence measurements
• Collaborate closely with scientists and data engineers to integrate automated assays into scalable experimental and data pipelines
• Generate, analyze, and interpret experimental data, ensuring high-quality and reproducible results
  
  

Your profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
• Strong interest in laboratory automation and automated liquid handling systems; experience with Hamilton platforms and VENUS software is a plus
• Hands-on experience with plate-based assays, such as ELISA, enzymatic, biochemical, or cell-based assays
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and eager to learn new technologies and experimental approaches
• Experience with data analysis, programming, or scripting (e.g., Python, R) is advantageous
• Team-oriented mindset combined with initiative, reliability, and a hands-on approach to experimentation
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
