Debt Syndicate Germany is part of UniCredit’s Advisory & Financing Solutions business within Client Solutions.

The team is responsible for structuring, pricing, and syndicating loan transactions for German and international corporate clients across a broad range of industries. Working closely with Investment Grade Financing Solutions, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, and Relationship Management teams, Debt Syndicate plays a key role in executing acquisition financings, refinancings, recapitalizations, and other strategic financing transactions.

What you can expect from us

  • Support the preparation of client presentations, syndication materials, market updates, and internal credit documentation
  • Conduct research and analysis on loan markets, financing transactions, industry trends, and comparable debt financings
  • Assist in the execution of syndicated loan transactions, gaining exposure to the full deal lifecycle from origination to closing
  • Analyse financial information and help prepare materials for internal committees and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from Client Solutions product teams, Relationship Managers, and external banking partners

What we expect from you

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field with strong academic performance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an interest in corporate finance, capital markets, and lending products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

During your internship, you will receive a monthly compensation of EUR 2,400 gross based on full-time employment, which meets at least the applicable statutory minimum wage. Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
