Your area of work

You will be part of the Trading & Clearing Marketing team at Deutsche Börse Group. The team develops and implements marketing strategies for Deutsche Börse brands, including Cash Markets, Börse Frankfurt, and Eurex, one of the world’s leading derivatives exchanges, Eurex Clearing and Eurex Repo. With team members in Frankfurt, Chicago and Singapore, we are an international team executing global marketing campaigns across all channels, including advertising, events, email marketing, and websites, with a strong focus on lead generation and thought leadership.

As an Intern in the Digital Channels, CRM & Analytics team at Eurex, you will support the team in the development and execution of digital marketing measures and website management via content management systems. In addition, you will actively support the use and further development of our CRM systems (Marketing Cloud). We are looking for someone with strong technical affinity and communication skills, who enjoys working hands-on with digital tools and can interface closely with internal stakeholders, especially IT to support the CRM and Digital Marketing team in their daily work.

Your responsibilities:

  • You support the management and maintenance of data in our CRM system (Marketing Cloud) and assist the marketing team in planning, executing, and reporting on digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing initiatives
  • You actively support the setup, testing and optimisation of email marketing campaigns using Marketing Cloud as well as support monitoring, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for CRM and digital marketing activities
  • Furthermore, you contribute to website management and editorial support for the Eurex websites via content management systems and are involved in market research and analysis to support the development of marketing strategies and campaigns
  • You participate in and support projects related to digitalisation and automation in marketing, including: Hands-on work on AI-driven marketing use cases, supporting testing phases, documentation and validation of new tools and solutions and coordination with IT and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • You support the team with event and trade fair organisation, as well as the preparation of reporting and marketing analyses
  • Additionally, you assist with general administrative and organisational tasks, such as preparing presentations, processing orders, and coordinating marketing materials

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled as a regular student at a state-recognised university and have completed at least two semesters (preferably in marketing, business administration, economics, informatics, or a related field)
  • You have practical experience or a strong interest in Customer Relationship Management and digital marketing, ideally in a B2B environment as well as experience or strong interest in email marketing and customer engagement
  • You demonstrate high analytical skills and an independent, structured way of working and are organised, proactive and curious, and you enjoy familiarising yourself with new (digital and technical) topics
  • You have very good Excel skills and an interest in data analysis and reporting, are curious about how AI and data-driven technologies can be applied in marketing and are motivated to gain hands-on experience with internal solutions, including testing, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams
  • You enjoy working at the interface between business, marketing, and IT
  • Furthermore, you are fluent in English; German and additional languages are a plus

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
