As the world leader in the production of innovative medicines, we at Boehringer Ingelheim offer you the opportunity to get to know the many tasks of the Open Science / opnMe Department. You accompany us and take responsibility to create new communication content and coordinate with external service providers

You will gain an insight into the following topics and areas of activities

  • During your internship you will experience how to create new communication content (incl. artwork and layout) for different digital media channels based on the opnMe communication strategy
  • As part of the communication team, you will get insights on how to develop and propose new ideas based on our strategy and present them to colleagues
  • Part of your stay includes supporting the coordination with external service providers (e. g., creative agencies and IT partners) for the design and layout of relevant communication materials
  • You support the analysis of the effectiveness of the digital communication using analytic tools (e. g., Adobe Analytics)


Your Profile

  • Student with at least 2 years of study in graphic arts design with focus on design & digital communication or a comparable field of study with practical experiences and working examples. (Please upload your portfolio during your application)
  • Passion for science and drug discovery research
  • Proven experience with MS Office™ and Adobe™ Creative Cloud including Adobe AI tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English


What we can offer you

  • As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
  • You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
  • A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
