Your Role
With us, you have the opportunity to perfectly combine your studies with practical experience while actively contributing to exciting projects. This allows you to gain valuable skills, expand your network, and grow both professionally and personally.
- Combine your studies with hands-on experience as an intern or working student to support applied research and prototyping in medical soft-body simulation for six months or longer
- Implement and validate soft-tissue deformation models using real patient data to build and validate simulation pipelines.
- Collaborate with research engineers and scientists, contribute to reusable tooling in Python, and translate research findings into practical applications
Your Profile
- Enrolled in a Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Programming skills in Python; C++ is a plus
- Solid understanding of computational modeling methods
- Solid understanding of geometry processing and mesh data structures
- Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
- You are curious, proactive, and collaborative, and you enjoy tackling challenging research-to-product problems.
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation software such as Ansys, COMSOL, or Abaqus
- Project or coursework experience in biomechanical modeling, soft-body simulation, or surgical simulation
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Familiarity with modeling software
