About viral(.)app

viral(.)app is a high-growth SaaS startup building infrastructure for performance-driven UGC marketing. We help consumer brands understand what content works, why it works, and how to scale it systematically.

We operate at the intersection of data, content, and distribution, turning viral content from guesswork into an engineered growth channel.

The Role

This is not a typical “social media intern” role.

We are looking for a high-agency, analytically sharp generalist who wants to understand and influence how modern digital growth actually works, across content, paid acquisition, SEO and distribution systems.

Your responsibility is to connect the dots across channels:

  • Why does content perform?

  • How does it translate into paid performance?

  • How do we systematically scale it across platforms?

You will work directly with founders on core growth levers, not execution busywork.

Tasks

What You’ll Actually Do

Growth Systems & Performance Marketing

  • Support and optimize Meta Ads performance loops (creative testing, hooks, iteration cycles)

  • Analyze what drives conversion, CTR, retention, and CAC efficiency

  • Help build feedback loops between organic content → paid performance

SEO & Distribution Strategy

  • Identify and execute SEO/GEO opportunities (programmatic pages, content clusters, search intent mapping)

  • Structure content to maximize discoverability across search + social

  • Think in distribution systems, not just one-off posts

Content Strategy (Not Just Creation)

  • Translate insights into content briefs, frameworks, and scalable playbooks

  • Work on UGC orchestration (briefing creators, structuring outputs, not necessarily filming yourself)

  • Ensure content aligns with performance data and growth hypotheses

B2B Content & Copywriting

Write sharp, insight-driven content for:

  • X (Twitter), LinkedIn

  • Support LinkedIn growth systems, including automation tools and outbound workflows

Insight Generation

Break down what’s working across:

  • Competitors, High-growth startups, Consumer brands

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Core Traits

  • Systems thinker: You naturally connect channels, not treat them in isolation

  • Analytical mindset: You care about why things work, not just that they work

  • High agency: You don’t wait for instructions, instead you figure things out

  • Structured communicator: You can simplify complex ideas into clear outputs

Skill Indicators (These are not Checkboxes)

  • Basic familiarity with performance marketing (Meta Ads or similar)

  • Understanding of SEO principles (intent, structure, ranking logic)

  • Strong writing ability (clear, concise, insight-driven)

  • Interest in growth systems, funnels, and experimentation

  • Comfortable using tools (or learning fast):

  • Analytics dashboards

  • Automation tools

  • AI tools for workflows

Benefits

What You Get

  • Direct exposure to real growth strategy

  • Work across paid, organic, SEO, and content systems

  • High ownership early means your ideas will be tested and implemented

  • A steep learning curve in modern digital marketing infrastructure

  • The opportunity to become exceptionally strong in a high-value niche

Working student essentials

Social contributions

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.
