Description provided by UniteLabs

The role

We're looking for a Working Student - Field & Event Marketing (m/f/d) to own our events from first plan to final follow-up. Our event marketing activity is ramping up, and needs an owner.

From November 2026, that's you: you coordinate every trade show and conference we attend, including social promotion, so that each one drives market awareness and sales pipeline.

You'll work closely with our GTM team, preferably 16-20 hours a week during the semester, for at least 12 months.

Why you'll love this role

  • Real ownership: You get the goal and the budget for each event.
  • Direct impact: Every show you run turns into leads and meetings for our sales team.
  • Hands-on experience: Trade fairs, vendors, logistics, social content and CRM, all in one.
  • Industry exposure: See up close how a startup sells into biotech, pharma and chemistry.
  • Events covered: Travel, accommodation and per diems are paid for every event you join.

Your mission

  • Plan the calendar: Build our 2027 event calendar, with cost and rationale for every event.
  • Run events end to end: Booth, freight, print, swag and travel, including German vendors and venues.
  • Social Promotion: Promo and live coverage published on LinkedIn for that show, with a performance report delivered afterwards. Post-event content ships within 5 working days of every show.
  • Close the loop: Every lead scanned at a show goes into Attio within 48 hours.
  • Build the playbook: Cost, leads and meetings per event, so we know which shows are worth going back to. Document how each event runs, so the next one is easier.
  • Keep stock in check: Booth assets, swag and print tracked, so nothing gets rush-ordered the week before.
  • Be there: Join some of the events you planned on site.

Your profile

  • Enrolment: Enrolled at a university in Munich, at least until the end of winter semester 2027/28.
  • Languages: Fluent German (B2+) and English (C1+). Vendors, venues and invoices are mostly German; everything we publish is in English.
  • Organization: You've run something with moving parts and a deadline, where other people depended on you.
  • Ownership: You chase the details nobody assigned you. The shipment that hasn't arrived yet is yours.
  • Public presence: You're comfortable representing UniteLabs on a booth floor and on LinkedIn.

Nice to have

  • Life-science exposure: a lab job, a research placement, a biotech-adjacent degree
  • Has staffed a booth or run a student conference
  • Has grown a social account and can show what worked
  • Driver's license
  • Canva, Figma, or basic video editing skills
  • Fluent with AI tools for research and drafting

How To Apply

Send us your CV and 3 to 5 sentences about the most complicated thing you've organized: what had to happen, what went wrong, and what you did about it. Add your expected graduation date in the application form.
