Your mission as "Werkstudent (m/f/d) within Radar Systems Engineering department in the Domain Surface Radar (SRA)":

  • Developing radar data management solutions for machine learning and testing use cases
  • Developing and optimizing data pipelines in Python, including the integration of signal processing steps
  • Implementing data transformation and quality assessment processes, e.g. anomaly detection using machine learning
  • Developing new data pipelines for AI training, with opportunities to work on data collection and visualization
  • Working independently on a defined subproject with creative freedom and technical mentoring from an experienced engineering team

We are looking forward to:

  • Student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field
  • Basic programming experience in Python, basic familiarity with SQL, Git, CI/CD and containerization tools are advantageous
  • Practical experience in working with data (e.g. in machine learning or visualization tasks)
  • Interest in learning software engineering and radar fundamentals.
  • Personally you enthuse with analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
