Internship / Thesis in the field of R&D Industrial Parts Cleaning / Metal Pre-Treatment (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Independent processing of one or more development projects
  • Analysis of existing processes and materials
  • Planning and execution of laboratory tests in the chemical field
  • Detailed documentation of results
  • Close cooperation with production and application engineering
  • Characterization and evaluation of treated surfaces using various methods such as corrosion tests, surface tension measurements or UV fluorescence
  • Transfer of the new processes to pilot plant scale

Qualifications

  • Studies in chemical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, materials science or related fields.
  • Interest in topics related to surface technology, corrosion protection and cleaning
  • Good computer skills (MS-Office)
  • Independent working style and good analytical skills
  • Commitment, initiative, ability to work in a team, creativity and enjoyment of practical work
  • The internship/thesis should be a mandatory part of your studies and last at least 5 months.
