Introduction
The Intern CEO Assistance (f/m/d) position at smart Europe GmbH offers the opportunity to support the CEO and the Executive Assistant in their daily work while gaining comprehensive insights into the automotive industry from a top management perspective. In addition to working closely with the CEO Office, the role includes exposure to and collaboration with the Corporate Projects and ESG Strategy teams, providing hands-on experience in key strategic and regulatory topics at the core of the organization. The internship provides exposure not only to executive management topics, but also to strategy development, corporate structuring, organizational topics as well as marketing and events.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the central management and coordination of cross-functional corporate projects within the European sales organization, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and timely execution
- Contribute to key strategic initiatives, including the smart Mission 2026 Simplification, and support ESG strategy topics with a focus on evolving EU regulations and directives
- Act as a key interface between the CEO Office, top management, internal departments and affiliated companies, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the organization
- Prepare and coordinate top management meetings and committees, including agenda setting, content preparation and follow-up actions
- Develop high-quality decision papers, briefings and meeting minutes to support informed decision-making at executive level
- Support CEO Office topics such as cooperation management, business model development and broader cross-functional initiatives
- Create and refine presentations, speeches, interviews and other executive-level communication materials with a strong focus on clarity and impact
- Support internal and external communication by preparing structured and compelling content for top management
- Coordinate and manage selected operational and organizational topics, including company car management, facility management and company events, ensuring smooth execution across departments
What You Bring Along
- Studies in Business Administration, Engineering, International Management, Media and Communication Sciences or a comparable field (advanced Bachelor or Master level)
- Availability for a minimum of 6 months starting in mid of July 2026
- Mandatory prior internship experience ideally in the automotive industry, management consulting or any other fields
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills and quick comprehension
- General understanding of the automotive industry
- Strong interest in strategy and shaping the future of mobility
- Independent, structured and proactive working style
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and organizational capabilities
- Preferably Class B driving licence
