What you can expect from us:
Join a dynamic and innovative team where your contributions as a working student will have a meaningful impact. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IoT connectivity within the Elevator & Escalator Industry. Your tasks will be:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot connectivity in IoT Network
- Support existing elements of Schindler IoT Ecosystem
- Manage technical requirements and expectations with the local Mobile Network Operators
- Support and maintenance of the Service Level Agreements with the local Mobile Network Operators
- Testing local configurations and releases for the Edge devices
- Troubleshoot Commissioning, TeleAlarm and Telemonitoring operational issues
What makes you special:
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a university program related to telecommunications engineering or similiar
- You are enrolled as a student until at least 08/2026 in Berlin
Knowledge and experience:
- Excellent understanding of Mobile Networks, Mobile Data and Voice (LTE, 3G/5G, GSM)
- Good understanding of Network Connectivity and Protocols
- Basic understanding of IoT and Edge Architecture / Technology
- Basic understanding of leading edge security requirements in ICT in heterogenous environments is an advantage
Language skills:
- Fluent business english
- Additional languages are a strong plus
Other competencies:
- Team player, but highly autonomous and independent working style
- Flexible person willing to work in a very dynamic and agile environment
