Master’s Thesis (m/f/d) in Data Science

This is an onsite position in Lingen, Germany.

As part of a master's thesis (m/f/d), we offer the opportunity to work on real-world data science challenges within an international corporate environment. We are looking for a highly motivated master's student with a strong interest in data science, machine learning, and applied artificial intelligence.

The thesis focuses on developing and evaluating data-driven models that generate insights and predictions from operational process data. By applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques, you will contribute to process optimization, support data-driven decision-making, and create measurable business value.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and testing machine learning approaches to derive insights and predictions from process data
• Researching, implementing, and comparing suitable methods from the fields of machine learning, process mining, and predictive analytics
• Evaluating and validating the developed approaches in terms of their significance and practical applicability
• (Optional) Building a prototype application to put the predictive model into practice

• A degree program (not yet completed) in field Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• An interest in data analysis, machine learning, and the optimization of business processes

• Good written and spoken English skills
