Engineering Intern - NORITUAL LAB

Berlin · Full-time Internship · 6 months

Build the data layer behind a fast-scaling brand

NORITUAL LAB is one of the fastest-growing CPG brands in Europe. Built completely bootstrapped out of Berlin and Tokyo, we've scaled to eight figures in revenue in just two years without external capital, across Amazon, TikTok Shop, DTC, and international B2B.

We operate across three pillars: 600+ café and hospitality partners across Europe, a fast-growing DTC business in Germany, and a Japan operation we're building from the ground up.

Modern consumer growth runs on data infrastructure. Most brands at our stage still run on fragmented spreadsheets and manual chasing. We're building the infrastructure layer instead — and we're looking for engineering interns to own one part of it end to end.

What you'll do:

You'll work directly with the founders and leadership team and own one part of our data infrastructure from problem to production. This is not a hypothetical internship project. Your code ships and changes how the company operates.

You will be assigned for your own project after joining the team.

Here are the two examples:

  • Creator Discovery & Growth Data: Build the pipeline that finds, scores, and tracks creators across TikTok and Instagram — and ties their activity back to real sales
  • Cross-Department Data Automation: Build the ingestion and monitoring layer that pulls every department's numbers into one reliable place

You'll start with an ambiguous problem. Your job is to understand it, structure it, make decisions, bring the right people together, and get something working and reliable.

Who we're looking for:

  • Current student or graduate of Computer Science, Data Engineering, or another highly quantitative field — undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni are all equally welcome.
  • Strong fundamentals in Python, APIs, scraping, and data parsing
  • Built something from zero, or become exceptionally good at something through your own initiative
  • An appetite for messy real-world data and building clean systems from scratch
  • Interest in social platforms and creator economics (especially for the creator discovery project)
  • Fluent English

We don't expect you to know everything. We expect you to figure things out.

Internship Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start date: Rolling — we hire when we find the right person
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Location: Berlin (in-person)
  • Extension opportunity: Based on your performance and interest, we may offer a continuation into a longer-term role.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive internship compensation — €2,450/month
  • Fully paid accommodation — accommodation in Berlin is provided and paid for the duration of the internship
  • Travel allowance to move to Berlin (round-trip flight or train)
  • Unlimited matcha and a fast-moving, high-trust environment
  • Pathway potential to longer-term roles building and leading the company's data, growth, and operations infrastructure

How to Apply:

Send your CV to [email protected], along with your earliest full-time (40hrs/week) possible start date. No cover letter required.
