Description provided by NEURA Robotics

Events are NEURA Robotics' central showcase for the future of cognitive robotics. At leading trade fairs such as automatica, IFA, and CES, we inspire the world with our innovations — and we are increasingly present at summits, conferences, and comparable platforms worldwide. Within our Marketing Operations & Strategy team, part of the Marketing & Communications department, we are looking for driven support who rolls up their sleeves, thinks proactively, and grows beyond event management into broader marketing topics.

Your Mission & Challenges

  • You support our team in the planning, preparation, and execution of trade fair appearances and other events — from the initial concept idea through coordination to on-site follow-up.
  • You collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers such as exhibition builders and agencies, keeping timelines, budgets, and task lists on track.
  • You help prepare event materials, maintain overviews, and measure success based on our KPIs.
  • Beyond events, you support the marketing team on product and partner topics, such as creating content, coordinating materials, and preparing campaigns.

What We Can Look Forward To

  • You are an enrolled student of business, marketing, communications, or a comparable field — ideally with a focus on events or marketing.
  • You are completing a mandatory or voluntary internship with a minimum duration of six months.
  • First practical experience from internships, working student positions, or own projects is a plus, but not a must.
  • You work in a structured and reliable manner, keep track of multiple parallel tasks, and bring a strong hands-on mentality.
  • You are a communicative team player who engages openly with people and contributes actively.
  • You communicate confidently in both German and English.
  • You are proficient with common office tools; first experience with social media or common marketing tools is welcome.
  • You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
  • A strong affinity and enthusiasm for future topics such as robotics and artificial intelligence round off your profile.

Working student essentials

What this Marketing internship in Metzingen means for you: the pay rules, the social contributions, and what international students should check before applying.

Weekly hours

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.

Working student rules

Social contributions

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.

International students

Non-EU students can work 140 full or 280 half days per year (raised from 120/240 in March 2024). A working student contract usually fits within this — confirm the exact limits printed on your residence permit.
