The Max Planck School of Biomedical AI (BMAI) is a new, cross-site graduate program bringing together German universities and non-university research institutions at the interface of biomedicine and artificial intelligence. The central coordination office for the School is based at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (MPIB) in Martinsried, near Munich.

From November 2026 to February 2027, for a maximum of 19 hours per week, we are looking for a Student Assistant (m/f/d).

The position

  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of the application process for the 2026/2027 selection phase
  • Supporting the planning and organization of events for the Max Planck School of Biomedical AI

Your Qualifications

  • Studies or academic background in a relevant field, e.g., Computational Life Sciences, Data Science, or other quantitative disciplines
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; good German skills are a plus
  • Confident and routine use of common MS Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail as well as a structured and careful way of working
