About The Role

We're looking for a process-minded HR Intern to join our People & Culture team in Berlin. Your primary focus will be supporting the improvement of our HR processes, with additional support on day-to-day HR tasks as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Review and audit existing employment files across our German entities, identifying gaps and inconsistencies
  • Assist with ad hoc HR tasks and projects as they arise, including recruitment coordination, employee records, and internal communications
  • Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Law, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Interest in employment law and HR compliance in a German context
  • Fluent English required; good knowledge of German is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Proactive and structured approach to work, comfortable operating independently

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich HR in Berlin für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
