Student Assistant for Student Support at an International University

We are seeking for

To support the Student Services team, we are looking for a student assistant at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week, with a remuneration of 15 euros per hour.

Your Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face of Student Services on site: provide personal consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point. 
• Help students navigate university life: answer inquiries related to Student Affairs (e.g., housing queries; questions on public transportation, the schedule & examinations, on the semester abroad, etc.).
• Foster community spirit: organize and promote extracurricular events, from on-campus meetups and a yearly weekend trip to virtual meetings (evening & weekend work is required, depending on event schedules).
• Handle administrative tasks: issue certificates, conduct research, and assist in daily operations.

Your qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a state-recognized university.
• Excellent English skills (written & spoken); German is a plus!
• Friendly, service-oriented, motivated, and confident in interacting with diverse groups.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in your work approach.
• Team player with a proactive and engaging attitude.
• Availability at our KLU campus Hamburg (role requires physical presence).
• Flexible availability: occasional evenings & weekends for events.
