The market is growing by 20% every year, fueled by regulations like GDPR, NIS2, DORA, and the AI Act. We are perfectly positioned to establish Kertos as the European compliance champion.

There has never been a better moment to join our team. Come shape the future of compliance in Europe with us.

Your purpose at Kertos

You’ll be an essential part of our internal IT team and ensure that everyone at Kertos can work smoothly. Our team is growing rapidly—new employees, new tools, new devices—and you’ll keep everything organized. You’ll be the first point of contact when something isn’t working, and you’ll actively help ensure that our IT infrastructure scales with us. If you’re interested in cybersecurity, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about topics like MDM and endpoint security and take on responsibility in those areas.

  • Internal IT Support: You’ll handle requests from the team—from software issues to laptop-related problems—and ensure that no one has to wait long for a solution.
  • Device Management: You’ll set up new laptops, maintain our MDM system, and keep track of hardware and access rights across the entire team.
  • Software Access & Accounts: You’ll manage tool access, create new accounts, and properly remove them during offboarding.
  • IT Administration: You’ll keep our IT processes organized and well-documented, so we can maintain a clear overview even as we continue to grow.
  • Cybersecurity: If you’re interested, you’ll actively contribute to areas such as MDM configuration or our endpoint security setup with CrowdStrike.

The Skills, Motivation, And Mentality You Should Bring

  • You’re available for a long-term position as a working student and can commit to 15–20 hours per week with us.
  • You’re familiar with common operating systems, software installations, and basic networking technology.
  • You can independently prioritize multiple concurrent requests, remain reliable, and find pragmatic solutions.
  • You have an affinity for startups, enjoy pitching in, and communicate openly; German language skills are a plus, but not required.

Ideally, you also bring the following:

  • You’re interested in cybersecurity and would like to learn about topics such as MDM configuration or endpoint security (e.g., CrowdStrike).
  • You have already worked with ticketing systems, MDM solutions, or similar IT tools.
  • You’re curious about how a fast-growing team functions internally and are eager to actively help shape its structures.

Why Kertos

  • Steep Learning Curve: With us, you’ll have full responsibility from day one, drive projects forward independently, and learn a great deal in the process
  • Cutting-Edge AI Technology: Leading VCs have invested in our vision and sustainable growth so that we can bring about lasting change in how compliance measures are handled
  • European Funding in the Millions: The EU has funded our AI research with a total of over 2 million euros
  • Regular feedback: We foster an open feedback culture with regular 1-on-1s and 360-degree feedback cycles
  • Full flexibility: Whether at our Munich headquarters or working from home—we’re flexible, and you’ll be happy!
  • Comprehensive onboarding: Don’t know anything about compliance and its automation? No problem, we’ll turn you into an expert and assign you an onboarding buddy
  • For sports enthusiasts: We subsidize your Wellpass membership to help you stay active and balanced amid your university and work life
  • Mental Health: In partnership with nilo, we prioritize your well-being and offer all employees personalized support for their mental health
  • Teamwork makes the dream work: We’re a strong team that supports one another and has plenty of fun together, even beyond work and across different locations
