Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Data is everything: Assess measurement data from our system ESD modeling of USB3 applications to establish a solid factual basis.
  • Shape the future: Create SEED models of USB transceivers and TVS devices based on our internal ESD model.
  • Keep an overview: Run SEED simulations and meticulously compare the results with measurement data to ensure model accuracy.
  • Take responsibility: Contribute to bringing robust SEED models to customers on a broad basis, thereby reducing system ESD problems, support inquiries, and design losses at the customer side.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Study Field: You are enrolled in a Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or closely related field.
  • Experience: You ideally already have practical experience or academic knowledge about semiconductor physics, ESD fundamentals/protection concepts, parameter extraction, device characterization, circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE), and measurement data analysis.
  • Way of Working: You have an autonomous and structured work style with high attention to detail and can work independently while aligning with the team’s goals.
  • Language Skills: You are fluent in English and feel comfortable presenting to an international audience (as will be required).

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
  • You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
