Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Shape the future: You define system requirements and select suitable hardware components based on application needs such as audio quality, power consumption, wireless range, and form factor
- Be Creative: You design schematics and PCB layouts for a custom low-power audio streaming platform, including microphone interfaces, power management circuits, and energy-efficient processing units
- Focus on the future: You evaluate, select, and integrate wireless communication modules or MCUs that best fit the target deployment scenario
- Take responsibility: You develop embedded firmware for audio data acquisition, buffering, and wireless transmission
- Experience research: You investigate and implement suitable approaches for low-power wireless audio streaming and system optimization
- Work Reliably: You prototype and assemble hardware, perform board bring-up activities, verify functionality, and execute comprehensive laboratory tests
Your profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Study Field: You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Skills: You have a solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, especially for low-power applications
- (Work) experience: You have hands-on experience with PCB design and embedded C/C++ programming
- Skills: You are familiar with communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, and PDM/I²S
- Interests: You have an interest in audio signal processing; initial experience in this area would be an advantage
- Work Style: You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner
- Language Skills: You possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Dank des Werkstudentenprivilegs zahlst du keine Beiträge zur Kranken-, Pflege- und Arbeitslosenversicherung — nur die Rentenversicherung greift. Dir bleibt mehr netto als in einem regulären Job.
