Become part of the Infrastructure & Export Financing Team: gain first-hand insights within the global commodity, energy, infrastructure, and export finance sectors, and support the European transition into a low-carbon economy through financing of green and transition projects in a broad range of sectors. You will have an opportunity to actively participate in the structuring and execution of large-scale complex transactions and gain first-hand corporate and investment banking experience at a major European Bank.

What you can expect from us

  • Actively contribute to every stage of a transaction including pitching, bidding, negotiations with clients, structuring, and deal execution
  • Perform cash flow model analysis and develop financial model sensitivities
  • Review and analyse Due Diligence material (incl. financial, technical, environmental, legal, and market)
  • Prepare pitch books and client presentations
  • Support the deal team in preparing credit applications and memos for management approval and external communication
  • Conduct market and industry research, performing benchmarking analyses

What we expect from you

  • At least in the final year of bachelor studies in Business Administration, Economics or related areas with a focus on finance, or students with an engineering background connected to Commodity or Project Finance
  • Good academic achievements in combination with extracurricular activities
  • Team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills especially in MS Excel (ideally also VBA)
  • Written and oral fluency in English, other European language skills are beneficial
  • Pro-active approach, self-management, and ownership of work
  • Practical experience in Corporate / Commodity / Project Finance is an advantage
  • Target internship duration of 4-6 months

During your internship, you will receive a monthly compensation of EUR 2,400 gross based on full-time employment, which meets at least the applicable statutory minimum wage. This applies regardless of whether the internship is mandatory or voluntary.
