Blackstone’s Private Equity group offers off cycle interns the chance to engage in the direct acquisition of large and midsized companies in a variety of sectors worldwide. The investment process develops both the financial skills of investment banking and the strategic thinking of management consulting. As a result, this internship program offers a unique experience among financial firms, enabling our interns to develop a well-rounded and fine-tuned business mind. The off-cycle intern will be part of the Private Equity Team in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities may include:
- Financial analysis and modelling
- Investment research
- Competitive analysis
- Assistance in the execution of transactions
- Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
- Communications with portfolio company senior management

To be considered for the 2026 Off-Cycle Intern position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Gap-year student looking for a 4–6-month internship (typically second part of the gap year) starting July 2026, ideally having already 4-6 months of M&A or Private Equity experience
- CV must include expected graduation month/year and grade and should be in PDF format
- Fluent German speaker
