Intern (f/m/d) Asset Management

Mission: As an intern with the Commercial Asset Management at Aquila Capital with a diversified portfolio of different technologies throughout Europe, you will play a supporting role in our mission to drive the global energy transition. You will be a supportive player, maximizing our renewable energy assets' profitability and operational efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Assistance for our asset managers, enabling them to navigate daily operational challenges and support the strategic decision-making process through administrative tasks.
- Support asset managers in the performance monitoring and optimization of a diverse renewable energy portfolio.
- Learn about Financial Planning & Analysis, together with the team.
- Gain experience in Risk Analysis & Market Insights: Research about Southern or Northern Europe's renewable energy regulatory environment to support strategic decisions.
- Support general administrative tasks and responsibilities.
Your Profile
- Enrolled or Completed Academic Background (Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field)
- Strong analytical skills (excellent excel skills, data analysis, financial modeling background is beneficial but not mandatory)
- Communication excellence (English is mandatory, other languages are beneficial)
- Open to own responsibilities, challenges, and new tasks
Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Hamburg für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
