Student Assistant Controlling & Compliance (d/f/m)

We are looking for a new team member for our International Cooperation Unit in Hamburg, starting as soon as possible: Limited to a max. of two years / 20 hours per week

Your tasks

• Support of the IZ division in project controlling and compliance management (in the Controlling & Compliance team of the International Cooperation Department)
• Analysis, improvement, and documentation of departmental processes
• Support in reporting with the help of MS Excel
• Support in the maintenance of financial and project management systems
• Assist in auditing receipts, project budgets and financial reports of publicly and privately funded projects
• Research work and processing of project information in graphs, tables and presentations
• Collaboration in the establishment and further development of a knowledge management system
• Flexible tasks according to your needs

Your profil

• Student in the field of economics/social sciences with basic knowledge of accounting and controlling
• Available for at least one year
• Independent and structured work
• Quick comprehension and good analytical skills
• Affinity for numbers and systems
• Very good (written and spoken) English skills as well as good French or Spanish skills
• Knowledge of German language will be an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
