Amazon is looking for a smart, ambitious individual to join our EU Public Policy team as intern. Key job responsibilities

Providing support to our Public Policy team in the monitoring, research and analysis of a broad range of policy issues across the EU.

Assisting with scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policymakers and other relevant stakeholders.

Supporting the Public Policy team in working with Amazon's business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.

Assisting in the organization of public policy events

Organizing and coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond it.

Internship Start Dates Across The Year

We are hiring interns to start Q3 2027.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently in your final or penultimate year and working towards a university bachelors’ or masters’ degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or Law.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English and German at C1 level or above.
  • Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) and commit to  6-12 months' internship with a Q1 start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Polish at C1 level or above. Please note if you don't know Polish language but you have all the basic qualifications above, we’d love still to hear from you.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Recht in Berlin für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
