Mission

The Working Student Origination assists the German origination team with daily operational activities and serves as the first point of contact for customer requests, ensuring smooth coordination across internal teams and contributing to the development and execution of energy transactions and the broader product portfolio.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Operational Support & Customer Service: Assist the German origination team with day-to-day operations and act as first-level customer support, coordinating inquiries between back office, settlement, trading, credit, accounting, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support in analyzing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
  • Data & CRM Management: Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate, up-to-date information at all times.
  • Deal & Contract Support: Support originators in concluding bespoke and standard energy transactions, assist in negotiating and finalising framework agreements and smaller-scale PPAs, and ensure timely coordination with internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Assist in the preparation of reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to support the team's commercial activities.
  • Product Development & Events: Support the origination team in developing the product portfolio in collaboration with trading, legal, and back office, and coordinate and prepare customer events, meetings, and trade shows.

Your impact

In this role, success means being a reliable and proactive backbone for the German origination team. Over time, the role creates value through consistently high customer satisfaction, accurate and well-maintained data, timely and well-structured reporting, and smooth execution of contracts and customer events. As experience grows, the role increasingly contributes to deal progression and commercial negotiations alongside the Originators.

Your profile

  • Analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a structured and transparent manner.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • First experience in Data Management, Excel and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and client orientation skills.
