Working Student - Asset Management

Tishman Speyer is looking to hire a highly committed working student, who will support the Asset Management team in managing numerous assets in Germany and Austria. The responsibilities will focus on analytical analysis and real estate operations, as well as investor and lender communications.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Asset Management team in managing two office buildings in Frankfurt as well as a residential building in Vienna, involving various disciplines of Tishman Speyer, including finance, leasing, and steering associated departments such as property management, design & construction, as well as third parties.
• Supporting the Asset Management team in monitoring the sellers’ development works of two office projects in Berlin and Munich.
• Updating financial Excel models, supporting in multiple financial analyses, scenarios and performance calculations to facilitate and recommend decisions regarding business plans.
• Provide solutions for improving operating performance of the aforementioned buildings.
• Potentially working on zoning, planning and (pre-)development phases for some of these assets.
• Supporting the Asset Management team with the preparation of internal and external mark
• et assessments.
• Becoming part of a multifunctional team and performing daily asset management tasks (e.g. execution and optimization of business plans/asset performance), as well as internal and external (e.g. lender and investor) communication and reporting, by independently working with the different teams of Tishman Speyer’s integrated management platform.
• Building upon the company’s existing understanding of the entire life cycle of different assets in different markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Student of business administration or real estate, or a combination of an engineering and business degree
• Internship(s) in real estate (ideally in financial and operational Asset Management)
• Passion for real estate, strong ownership attitude and ability to quickly grasp complex situations
• Excellent analytical skills (i.e. Excel cash flow modeling)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn, grow and take on further responsibility
• Ability to multitask and cope with competing priorities
• Fluency in German and English
