What To Expect
The Technical Program Manager Intern is responsible for leading and managing key initiatives within the Non-Production Materials team. The intern supports strategic sourcing projects for workwear and PPE, including supplier evaluation, onboarding, and long-term cost optimization.

The intern manages milestone-based execution plans, coordinates cross-functional discussions with engineering and international partners, and drives feasibility assessments and proposal negotiations. They conduct benchmarking, comparative analysis, and financial modelling to support decision-making and deliver measurable cost-saving outcomes.

The intern also leads innovation efforts focused on sustainable materials and circular economy solutions, contributing to pilot development and technical validation. They work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and compliance with quality and performance standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead projects for non-production materials, including workwear, safety equipment, and technical textiles.
  • Manage supplier evaluation, onboarding, and performance tracking to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and execution of initiatives aimed at long-term cost reduction and supplier transformation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on feasibility assessments, technical alignment, and project milestones.
  • Lead benchmarking studies, comparative analysis, and financial modeling to inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate in innovation efforts focused on sustainable materials and circular economy opportunities.


  • What You'll Bring

  • Very good knowledge in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Textiles, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize work, and deliver results under tight timelines.
  • Solid analytical mindset with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Asana, Jira) or similar platforms is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Interest in sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence is highly valued.
