eCommerce Working Student – Digital Shelf & Content

Location: Neuss, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Employment Type: Working Student | 19 hours/week | Minimum 1 year

Overview

Working Student role supporting eCommerce and Digital Shelf activities, including product content optimisation, digital asset management, performance analysis and online content quality across eCommerce partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise product detail pages, brand stores and digital content across eCommerce platforms.
• Review product information and digital assets for accuracy, completeness and quality.
• Support content updates, product launches, content audits, translations and approvals.
• Prepare briefs for internal teams, retail partners and agencies.
• Analyse eCommerce and Digital Shelf KPIs and prepare clear performance reports.
• Monitor competitors, online retailers and digital trends to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Support day-to-day eCommerce activities and take ownership of smaller projects and work packages.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university, ideally studying Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Initial experience in FMCG/consumer goods and a strong interest in digital channels advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Structured, detail-oriented and independent working style.
• Strong communication and proactive stakeholder approach.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent German and English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of smaller projects.
