Intern-Advanced Innovation Portfolio and Strategy (d/f/m) - Focus Market- and Technology Analysis

The basic requirement for an internship at Schaeffler is proof of enrollment at the time of the internship.

This position can be filled from October for a period of 4- 6 months.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You will support market, competition, and trend analyses of new innovation projects at Schaeffler
• You will participate in the evaluation of potential innovation ideas and projects, e.g. through business case analyses, KPI considerations and performance evaluations
• You will help with the analysis and preparation of financial and performance indicators such as sales, margins and investments
• You will support the creation of management presentations and decision templates
• You will work on the further development of the portfolio strategy
• You will be involved in the optimization of portfolio management processes and methods
• You maintain and optimize tools and data structures such as Excel, Power BI and internal systems
• You will work closely with related departments such as marketing, technology, finance and sales – also in an international environment
  
  

Your Qualifications

• You are studying a field such as economics, industrial engineering, computer science, or engineering, ideally with a focus on innovation management
• You have strong analytical thinking skills and like to work in a structured and careful way
• You are interested in strategic portfolio management, product management, or corporate development
• You want to carry out your own research and analyses on market and trend topics
• You are highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
• You have initial experience with BI tools
• You have excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
• Having German language skills is a plus
• You are strong in communication, think creatively, show high commitment, and work independently and reliably.
