About Public Value Hub
Public Value Hub is a fast-growing nonprofit building national infrastructure for impact entrepreneurship in Germany. Our mission is to make impact measurable, credible, and investable — so that founders who solve real problems get the support and capital they deserve.
Together with our partners, we run two flagship programs. The Public Value Academy (PVA) professionalises impact founders through structured education and mentorship across Germany. The Social Impact Republic (SIR) connects regional innovation hubs into a nationwide ecosystem, helping impact startups scale successfully. Both programs are carried out in close collaboration with UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s leading centre for innovation and business creation.
Now we are expanding both programs’ footprints in Munich. Therefore, we are hiring for a position at the Munich Urban Colab, UnternehmerTUM’s flagship innovation hub in the heart of Schwabing. This 11,000 m² building brings together startups, corporate innovation teams, researchers, and investors under one roof. You will be PVH’s first on-site representative in Munich.
Your Role
You will be PVH’s permanent presence at UTUM — supporting our programs, building relationships in the ecosystem, and keeping our Leipzig headquarters connected to everything happening on the ground. This is not a back-office position. You will work independently, represent the organisation in professional settings, and help shape how PVH operates in its most important partner ecosystem.
Program support
· Support the planning and delivery of PVA and SIR activities in Munich — including workshops, founder onboardings, and cohort events
· Help onboard Munich-based startups into our programs and our impact measurement platform
· Coordinate with the Leipzig team on batch logistics, timelines, materials, and participant communication
Community and ecosystem presence
· Be PVH’s daily face at Munich Urban Colab — build relationships with the CoLab community, UTUM teams, and Munich-based founders
· Serve as the first point of contact for startups and ecosystem partners interested in PVA or SIR
· Attend relevant events, meetups, and ecosystem gatherings in Munich and report back to the team
Liaison and coordination
· Act as the operational bridge between PVH in Leipzig and the UTUM ecosystem in Munich
· Relay relevant information, flag opportunities, and help coordinate across both teams
· Support internal knowledge sharing and process improvement as part of a small, fast-moving team
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who combines initiative with reliability — a person who is genuinely comfortable representing an organisation, building relationships, and working independently in a professional environment.
· Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree at a Munich-based university (e.g. TUM, LMU, HM) in a relevant field such as economics, management, social sciences, innovation, sustainability, or a related discipline
· Interest in entrepreneurship, social innovation, and impact measurement
· Excellent German and English skills (at least one at C1, and the second at B2) — you will communicate daily in both languages
· Strong interpersonal skills: you enjoy meeting people, feel comfortable at events, and can represent PVH with confidence and warmth
· Reliable, self-organised, and comfortable working independently without daily supervision
· Confident using digital collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Asana, HubSpot)
· Available for at least 12 months — we invest in this role and want to build something together
What We Offer
· A unique work setting: Your desk is at Munich Urban Colab, surrounded by founders, investors, and innovation professionals every day. And you become embedded directly in the ecosystem. This is not a typical working student job.
· Purpose: Be part of a team that is building the infrastructure to make impact entrepreneurship work at scale in Germany.
· Responsibility: You will represent PVH in Munich from day one. We trust you with real tasks and real relationships.
· Learning: Gain hands-on experience in program management, ecosystem building, community management, and startup operations.
· Growth: We invest in our team’s development. You’ll have opportunities to participate in internal and external workshops and events. We’re actively growing — and for the right person, this role can develop into a permanent position.
· Fair pay: €17.50/hour, with a flexible schedule around your university commitments.
Interested? We’d Love to Hear from You.
