Working Student (m/f/d) Supply Chain Analytics & Planning

Your Responsibilities

• Support the analysis, planning, and optimization of the Europe-wide supply chain and asset planning processes for medical demonstration devices
• Use data to identify trends, uncover improvement opportunities, and create impactful Power BI dashboards and reports that support operational and strategic decision-making
• Contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Lean initiatives, and our tiered management system by turning business questions and Kaizen ideas into actionable insights
• Roll out the reports you have developed and ensure that your colleagues can work with them effectively
• Collaborate with logistics, planning, and analytics teams across Europe and gain first-hand experience in a dynamic supply chain environment

Your qualification

• Enrollment as a Bachelor's or Master's student (m/f/d) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field of study
• Strong passion for business intelligence, analytics, data-driven decision-making, and supply chain planning
• Experience in business analysis and demonstrated knowledge of data visualization
• In-depth expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with programming languages is considered an advantage
• Interest in or knowledge of metadata management and data governance concepts is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a structured, independent way of working
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. German language skills are considered an advantage
• Open-minded personality with a strong team spirit and a proactive, hands-on attitude
• This position is based in Hamburg and follows Olympus' hybrid working model. To provide first-hand insights into both planning and logistics operations, your presence days may take place at the Olympus Europe Campus (Wendenstraße 20) and/or our logistics operations site at Arvato in Hamburg-Allermöhe (Werner-Schröder-Straße 1), depending on business requirements.
