Redefining the Architecture of Health
Massage is one of the oldest forms of healing. At newsoul, we give it the modern, premium stage it deserves – combining high-end design, data-driven operations and a radical focus on customer experience.
The concept works. Now we are scaling it – across Germany and into Europe. This is a unique opportunity to help scale an innovative concept from the inside: not by watching, but by owning real projects with real numbers and real impact.
As Founders Associate Intern, you are the right hand of our Chief of Staff and work directly with our founders at our HQ in Berlin. You sit at the center of the company: where expansion, finance and operations meet. And you do it AI-first – we expect you to automate, accelerate and rethink how work gets done.
Your Responsibilities
- Steer the expansion pipeline: You keep our pipeline of new locations structured and moving – evaluating opportunities, tracking status and next steps, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Board & investor relations: You drive and automate the preparation of board and investor materials with analyses and synthesized insights.
- Build business cases: You assess new opportunities – new locations, formats or partnerships – with solid business cases and clear recommendations for decision-makers.
- Track project costs: You set up and own cost tracking for our studio projects, compare budget vs. actuals and flag deviations early.
- Drive operational efficiency: You dig into our operations – e.g. pricing, utilization or processes – identify levers and help implement them.
- Lead cross-functional projects: You steer projects across expansion, operations, marketing and finance – aligning stakeholders, keeping timelines and driving results.
- Connect the dots: You see how expansion, operations and finance influence each other and turn data and observations into insights that shape decisions.
- AI-first in everything: You use AI tools (e.g. Claude, agents, automations) to build analyses, workflows and tools – and help us scale our HQ without scaling headcount at the same pace.
Requirements
- Analytical strength: You are enrolled in a Master's program or in a gap year after your Bachelor's – ideally in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field. First experience in consulting, a high-growth startup or a similar high-pace environment is a strong plus.
- AI-native mindset: You already use AI tools daily – not just for writing texts, but to analyze, automate and build. You are curious about what's next and love to experiment.
- High bar for quality: “Good enough” isn’t your standard. You double-check your numbers, sweat the details and deliver work that’s ready for execution, not just a first draft. You’d rather ask one more question than ship something you can’t stand behind.
- Structured thinking: You break down complex, ambiguous problems, separate the important from the unimportant and communicate top-down.
- Ownership: You treat your projects as if it were your own company. You don't wait for instructions. You see a bottleneck – a missing number, a stuck project, a manual process – and you fix it.
- Communication: Fluent German and English – you work with internal teams as well as external partners.
- Resilience: You thrive in the dynamics of a scaling company and stay calm and solution-oriented when priorities shift.
Benefits
- Unique scaling opportunity: Help scale an innovative concept during its most exciting growth phase – with visible impact on every new studio.
- Real ownership: Your own projects and responsibilities from day one – no coffee runs, no "PowerPoint-only" internship.
- High-velocity learning: Work directly with the founding team and former top-tier consultants (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) in a close mentor-mentee setup.
- AI playground: Access to AI tools and the freedom to build and test your own solutions.
- Inspiring work environment: A beautiful HQ in the heart of Berlin (Kollwitzkiez) and a culture that values both high performance and personal well-being.
- Academic support: We happily support university projects, internship reports and ECTS requirements.
- Fair Compensation: A competitive package that reflects your academic merits, professional track record, and potential impact on our growth.
- Perspective: Strong performers have the opportunity to continue with us after the internship.
