Machine Learning Engineer Intern

The role

You will work on real ML and software engineering tasks across different stages of the ML lifecycle - not toy problems. Depending on your background, you may focus on data processing, model development, or supporting deployment workflows.

What you'll do

• Support development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
• Work with data pipelines, experiments, and model iterations
• Help integrate ML models into larger software systems
• Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and drive them to completion
• Document your work and share learnings with the team

What you bring

• Enrolled in or recently completed BSc/MSc in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Solid Python fundamentals
• Understanding of core ML concepts: classification, regression, model evaluation
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts (Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API, or similar)
• Motivated to work independently on defined tasks
• Fluent English (German is a plus)

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building ML models outside of coursework
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
